Ben has over 20 years’ experience in Investment Banking and Private Equity in the Energy and Commodities sector. Prior to joining Vertree in 2022, Ben was global lead for New Energy Technologies and Oil & Gas corporate finance coverage at ING Bank. Ben has also served as Head of Oil & Gas at Investec Bank and his early career was spent at Macquarie Capital during which time he was awarded Mergermarket “Young Dealmaker of the Year”. He is also a Founder of a Multi-Academy Trust that founded and oversees two Ofsted “Outstanding” schools. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking & International Finance from Bayes Business School.
