Vidur Nayar

Vidur has over a decade of experience in trading, structuring, and origination in the environmental and energy markets across Asia and Europe. He has built a track record in designing and managing both equity and complex debt securitisation deals to foster growth in partner entities and generate trading value. Vidur is passionate about the nexus between carbon markets, climate finance and decarbonisation to tackle the climate crisis. He joined Vertree in 2022 to lead the Asia-Pacific Environmental Trading business. Previously Vidur has held senior trading and origination roles for Shell and he led the environmental trade book for Southeast Asia. Prior roles include European biofuels trading and gas & power origination. He has a Master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Birmingham.
